There are a number of clubs in the Delaware County and
Philadelphia area which provide an opportunity for the children to
show off their skills in games against these clubs. There is also a
large network of GAA clubs throughout the USA and this year, in
addition to local competition we will be sending teams to
compete in Connecticut, Boston, Chicago, and to the highlight of
the season, the County Youth Championship, which this year is
being held in San Francisco, California.
There are a number of clubs in the Delaware County and

Delaware County Harps was formed in 2005 and is a not for
profit organisation.We are based in Havertown, Delaware
County, in the Greater Philadelphia region of Pennsylvania,
USA.
We promote the Irish sport of Gaelic Football and other
Gaelic Athletic Association sports by providing coaching in
skills, the rules and competition.Our emphasis is on teaching
and encouraging the children to develop good sporting and
life skills within a caring family orientated environment. We
rely heavily on the active support and involvement of the
parents. There is a strong sense of community within the
club and we welcome your participation in the many different
areas needed to help run a successful club.There is no need
for any previous experience. Many of our members were
born in the USA and membership of Delco Harps was their
first introduction to this exciting sport

social aspect for our members. There are numerous events
all year long and you can find details of forthcoming events
